Bob has been playing Bridge since his university days and really enjoys the competition and social contact that the game offers.
In the mid eighties he started to play the game seriously and since has played in the the higher divisions of the Manchester league.
He has played for the Manchester County team on many occasions. In recent years Bob has been heavily involved in the administration
of MCBA acting as League Secretary and Membership Secretary. He has a great sense of humour and along with Kevin believes that Bridge should be an enjoyable experience.

Michael, who is 25, was introduced to cards by his grandparents at an early age. He started to learn Bridge in his teens and for the past five years has represented England juniors in several European and World Championships. He is regarded as one of the strongest juniors in the country. Michael loves the game believing it fosters the development of concentration, stamina and judgement. More importantly he sees it as a way of creating and maintaining friendships.
